Nocturnal Animals is a work of exceptional undeniable craft but its also a movie thats meant to stick to you a little bit.
Susan Morrow divorces Edward Sheffield a struggling writer and marries the rich and suave Hutton Morrow. But it lacks a profoundly humanizing performance on a par with Firths. The movie is often painful to watch drawing out uncomfortable scenes for as long as possible.
